Flim-Flam-Scam!

I have been using Craigslist for years now and have had great success in selling items when I needed extra cash or just got tired of an item and wanted it gone...
I have recently figured out that E-Bay is another useful tool in that endeavor, especially on items that can be shipped for a low cost.
There have always been "scammers and spammers" there but recently that number seems to have made a noticeable jump in number.
Two days ago I posted 14 items for sale on Craigslist and one has been receiving far too much attention from the aforementioned scammers...

I am selling an Art Glass collection consisting of 11 different pieces, 7 of Crackle Glass and a 4 different others, all for $40.oo.
I have never had so many people want to "send me a cashiers check" from Lithowstanwania in all my life!!!
The point, my friends, is simple...If you ever receive an invite from others on Craigslist to provide your name, address, etc... So they can send you a "cashiers check"...DON'T DO IT!
Now I am an unemployed man with no bank accounts or assets what so ever, so it befuddles me to imagine what the heck they could do with that info, in my case, besides improve my credit! LOL! No seriously, it is strange to me that people still fall for this scam.
One other time involving a job, the "man" replied to me and said he was hiring me to "watch his new home until he showed up" at an imaginary time...and when he did show up he wanted me to be his "housekeeper" plus "be in charge of his 11 year old son"!
Now the problem here is that this person has never seen me or spoken to me at all!
What kind of half wit would EVER agree to leave their child with a complete stranger?, and give that stranger complete access to their home?
Then he said that he was forwarding advance payment for two for two weeks...in the form of one of those wonderful "cashiers checks", to a person he does not know...at all!

That's exactly how I feel about that Kevin!
In other words friends PLEASE do not provide any kind of names, addresses, account numbers or any other kind of information about yourselves...AT ALL...to these people, and lets see if we can put these scamming/stealing/conniving S.O.B.'s out of business!
