It just needs said.

 Okay, you know that I am working downtown on the 16th street mall and I had to work on December 25th, Christmas day, this year...One detail eludes me though...
 I had to be there...Why were YOU there?
Okay, maybe not you personally, but thousands of you were out there...For what?
 Aren't you the same people who are always complaining, " I never get to spend any time with my wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, kids, etc"... So...Wouldn't Christmas day have been a wonderful opportunity to do just that?
 But no, instead you piled into your cars and braved the major snow storm that occurred, trudged through the muck and slop to do what?
To walk aimlessly up and down the street for no reason at all! Nothing was open, it was Christmas! Would that day have been SO much better spent cuddling up by the fireplace on the sofa with your significant other and doing what adults do? Or spending the day actually playing with your kids instead of just talking about it? Or even just have some friends over to talk and reminisce, watch the game, etc..?
 I absolutely do not understand people, at all, and at this point I hope I never do!
 I am a single man who has never had the opportunities that you flagrantly squander, all I have ever wanted is a child to raise and love and take care of, but I cannot stand the idea of having to deal with a woman to have one, relationships have been one steady train wreck after another every time for me, adoption isn't possible cause I am a single man with a past.
 You have children that you just can't be bothered to spend time with and to teach them and to love on them every single chance you get, yet you squander those opportunities for nothing! 
 Anyway, I guess I'll be seeing you again real soon cause this Holiday season is still in effect and you will have many more chances to ditch your family, friends and kids to go waste your time on meaningless nothing! Have fun with that!
